Bushido releast am 13.05.2011 sein neues Album "Jenseits von Gut & Böse". Produzenten für das Album waren unter anderem DJ Premier, Araab Muzik oder Swizz Beatz. Eins der Features wird der französische Rapper Booba sein. Die 1. Single "Vergiss Mich" feat. J-Luv wird am 22.04.2011 erscheinen:

Die allgemein als "Ma Dukes" bekannte Frau ließ zudem verlauten, dass auf dem Projekt nur Artists aus Detroit vertreten sein werden, die mit Dilla auch schon zu Lebzeiten zusammengearbeitet haben. Als Ziel des Albums stellt man sich die Demonstration der Zusammengehörigkeit der HipHop-Community in Detroit vor.
Das Album wird den Namen "The Rebirth Of Detroit" erhalten und soll defintiv kein Material enthalten, welches bereits veröffentlicht wurde:
"There's a misconception that it has something to do with old projects. This is entirely new, fresh ideas, energetic, fresh and gifted. It is titled The Rebirth of Detroit, so no one will get it twisted."
Als Release-Zeitpunkt scheint der Herbst dieses Jahres angepeilt zu sein. Maureen Yancy gab zudem ein Interview bezüglich des Release-Dates, welches ihr euch weiter unten anschauen könnt.
Wusste schon länger von denen, Line-Up ist ja auch stark. Kurupt geht wie immer echt ab, der gefällt mir in letzter Zeit auch richtig gut, von dem werd ich mir auch allein wegen der DPG Sammlung vollständig holen Track ist ganz nice 8)

XXL recently announced that legendary west coast rhymers E-40 and Too Short will be releasing a full album together titled The History Channel. Although the duo has collaborated numerous times before, most recently on 2010 's "Can't Stop the Boss," E-40 says that the two artists' former label Jive never wanted to release a joint album between the two.
"We?ve been pretty successful every time we do a song," he said. "So we been trying to do it. We both off of Jive records. He?s free and clear; I?m free and clear. No disrespect to Jive, we got love for them, [but] we wanted to do it years ago. For some strange reason they didn?t want to do it. We never could figure it out, but now we?re ready."
He later added, "Short, that?s my rapping partner. We really friends. That?s my dude. We got a lot of respect for each other. He was before me, and I pay homage to him. A lot of new artists don?t pay homage to people before them, but I do."
Nas und Mobb Deep find ich zwar super, erwarte von neuen Alben aber auch nicht so viel. Trae hab ich noch nicht mal die letzten beiden und die sind sicher besser als das nächste wird. B.o.B. interessiert mich in etwa so sehr wie ein neues Michael Wendler Album
Zu E-40 & Too $hort: Shorty ist ja vom Rapstyle nicht schlechter geworden, aber die Auswahl seiner Beats ist meistens Scheiße Was E-40 betrifft, so hat der seine Crunk Phase überwunden, zudem rappt der noch jeden von der West Coast an die Wand Bin eigentlich guter Dinge, vor allem, wenn gute Producer am Werk sind. Und damit meine ich solche wie Quik, Battlecat, Meech Wells, Soopafly oder Rick Rock

Und Too Short war früher auch viel besser. Außerdem selbst wenn jemand auf gleichem Niveau bleibt wird es oft langweilig.

Warum sollte es nicht mein ernst sein? Sein Flow ist doch frisch wie eh & je
Auch wahr aber ob man sich Shorty auch als was anderes als einen Pimp vorstellen kann?
